Aporia Politico: You just have to laugh in politics…Or get punched in the face!

When it comes to politics?

Some people…

Just lack the needed humor.

[via the Blaze] It‘s President Barack Obama’s birthday, but it seems the Republican National Committee’s efforts to get in on the celebration were rebuffed.

The RNC on Friday sent the Democratic National Committee a birthday cake in the president’s honor, but the DNC sent it back.

The cake’s frosting message? “You didn’t bake this” — a riff on Obama’s “you didn’t build that” remark.

RNC Obama cake

“Since President Obama’s birthday is tomorrow, we actually wish him a happy 50.99726 years with this ‘you didn’t bake that’ cake,” RNC spokesman Tim Miller told Yahoo! News Friday.

And some…

Far, FAR more than others?

“Jeez, really dude?” Need grab just a little bit of savvy.

The 40-year-old Turpin remains in the Anderson County Jail after being charged with domestic assault. The girlfriend also reportedly told an officer that Turpin “has been violent toward her multiple times over several years.” [Read More]

I mean, come on…

When you look  at the two men battling to be President, how do you not grab enough of reality to just laugh?

I do.

Just, you know, not in a funny ‘ha-ha’ kinda way.

*sadness*

  1. I would keep the cake. I can’t bake it so why not accept it when the RNC was so nice to sent it.

The guy who punched his girlfriend in face, wow, scary dude. he was just looking for another reason to be violent.
