Back in 2010, a team of German doctors announced that they’d recorded the world’s first MRI of a woman giving birth. Back then, only still images were available—but now the researchers have released the video, and it’s spellbinding.
New Scientist explains how the video, which you can watch below, was acquired:
The video captures the active second stage of labour as the mother expels the fetus. The technique, called cinematic MRI, takes repeated images of the same slice of the body before joining them up to create an ultra-detailed video.
The scientists acquired the footage in order to examine the relationship between the movement of the fetus and its position as it travels through the birth canal. In turn, that should help doctors manage complications during labor and delivery. [Read More]

Apparently, thirty one hundred percent healthy babies were born after being experimented on.
Two of the babies’ genes have been tested and are confirmed to have genes from three different parents – one father and two mothers.
Over the past three years at least fifteen of these babies have been born who have received these genetic experimentations.
They began as embryos in women who originally had trouble conceiving – extra genes were injected into these womens’ eggs before they were fertilized in order for them to be conceived.
DNA tests confirm that two of the babies both have three inherent DNA traits from three different parents.
If any of these babies eventually have children they will also pass their genes to their offspring and so on and so forth.
The practice, which is the first of its kind in the history of the world, has caused extreme outrage and criticism among the majority of scientists in the world.

When has science genetically modified anything to this degree with any amount of success?
And now they are jacking with humans?

What is really natural?
We might be product of an experiment too. If this process continue and develop more , one thousand years form now it could be perfectly normal. They may look at what is normal now as ancient and barbaric. I am not taking side just looking at it from different perspective.
That this process is possible it truly opens many questions.
Didn’t you post long time ago, possibility of making baby from two women. i bet the same process will make babies form two men in the future.
You never know, maybe super babies are our only way to bet our future Robots Overlords.
If done enough, sure it could be normal…But no, it will never be ‘natural’. As for what is ‘natural’? In other words the way things were created to be. Its when science steps in and starts jacking with it, making a new normal? Yeah, that’s when we begin to have problems.
I think it was regarding the procreation of the whiptail lizard which needed no male. Nature finds a way. It always has, but that is NATURES choice. It should never be ours, because it never fails, in the end, we would abuse such a power. JMO
Yes, you are right. Natural and normal are two different things, my apologies for not thinking it through.
I think the new medical process came from desire to have a child even if person can’t. There are many procedure that helps people who can’t have children naturally to conceive through medical procedure. Is that natural?
I think life is coded in certain way that we can’t successfully create it in scientific way. We might create some monsters but they will be short lived. Nature is stronger.
Huh, I find this link from 2002 about the haploidisation. 10 years ago they were looking into this possibility.
